From the Leadership of Boyd Christian Church

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Action Plan

Updated: 5.19.2020

On Sunday, June 7th, we will begin having a dual service beginning @ 10 o'clock. This will be our first Sunday to have walk-in worship service in the Worship Center. Please know that we will still be having our drive-in worship service in the parking lot for those of you not yet comfortable coming into the church building.

At this time there are no plans to have Sunday school classes.

If you have any questions, please contact one of the elders.

On March 31, 2020 the Elders of Boyd Christian Church met to map out a way forward during this unprecedented time in our Nation and at our church.

Due to the request of President Trump and Governor Pritzker, Boyd Christian Church will continue to follow the practice of social distancing and not have regular worship services in our church building until the designated time period has expired.

We will continue to have "Drive-In Church" every Sunday beginning at 10 AM. As you pull into Boyd Christian Church's parking lot you will be given a communion kit and an opportunity to give tithes and offerings.

Please park your car in a spot. You will be able to listen to the service through your car radio.  The service will contain worship music, a time to have communion together and a time of teaching. As we worship the Lord from our cars, we ask that each person remain in their cars at all times.

The Leadership at Boyd know that health is important, so if you feel it best to stay home to worship the Lord, we understand. The leadership simply wants to offer a way to worship together during this unprecedented time.  If you are unable to attend a "Drive-In Service" our services will be offered via Facebook and our website (

Thank you for your faithfulness and continue to pray for our world!
